As I mentioned in my last post, I’ve got an art show hanging at the local coffee shop. I’ve also created online galleries for the show so people not nearby can view it and so it lives on beyond August. (It’s showing til the end of the month.)
I shared my news with most everyone I know. I think this might have been the best part of the experience, the feedback from everyone.
My favorite so far was the feedback from the artist that inspires me to really see:
“…you don’t fully understand your own work
until you see it on the wall. a show is not an end, rather a road map for
what’s next.”
Such wisdom.
I’m an incredibly lucky person to have such guidance/freedom in my artistic exploration and to have many, many other people interested enough to take a look at my online art and give me feedback. I’m truly honored by that.
